August is here at last, bringing abundant heat and sunshine to the Pacific Northwest! The garden beds are now established, and watering the potted plants on the patio is a relaxing daily chore.

Free Windows Theme | March
March is upon us, bringing a mix of rain and warmer weather. It’s starting to get light out earlier, and dusk is a bit farther off each day. It’s also the month where we celebrate everything Irish, and so I wanted a theme for my desktop that was green and lush, wet and cool, warm and comforting.

February is an interesting month, because it’s very short and it means we’re getting closer to spring. It’s also a month where we can indulge freely in flowers, chocolate, coffee, tea, champagne and other joys.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the month of January, especially as experienced in the Pacific Northwest. I threw together a new theme for my Windows 7 computer that contains 13 images of weather we see around the Pacific Northwest in January.
